  • Internal Summary 1. Mid-to senior-level - Hunting + Strategic Accounts Candidates need to be VERY STRONG HUNTING new logos and EXPANDING WITHIN Strategic Accounts 2. Experience with Software + selling to Auto Manufacturing OEMs, Tier 1/2, or possibly other Industrial Automation; other industry segments are a plus (aerospace & defense, electronics, etc.) 3. Network in Automotive - selling to OEMs, tier 1 suppliers, (anything else?) 4. Willingness to travel.

  • IDEAL years industry experience ~5-8 years - automation & controls and/or - field apps engineering - robot programming - Skills we want / to evaluate for: 1. Technical • Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting • Some software programming experience (heavier coding skills a big plus) • IT / networking / software patches / debug / troubleshoot o installing patches, ability to give customer a sense of confidence in problem-solving • PLC programming – technical screen prior to onsite 2. Domain experience in automotive manufacturing 3. Customer facing experience o Communication: Able to participate in customer facing role / support sales process o Customer relationships experience, i.e. boundary/expectation setting and negotiation skills, not committing to doing work for free 4. Location / Ability to Travel - Detroit metro region - commutable by car in an hour or so. o No Chicago, No Rochester for now Travel to customer site and to Symbio HQ – first month or 2 in Bay Area, then travel to HQ every 3-6 months
